Clinics & Services

We are offering several clinics (by appointment only) 

Antenatal Clinic

Care of pregnant women is usually shared between your doctor, the community midwife team and the hospital. Please see your doctor for this service. You can register with the maternity unit at St Peters Hospital online;

Child Development Clinic

This clinic is shared between the doctors and the Health Visitors and is offered to all children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. The doctors will usually perform the 8 weeks development check.

Child Immunisation

Baby immunisations are performed by our practice nurses. If you have any queries regarding the immunisation of your baby, please discuss these with the Health Visitor or the doctor. For further information, please see Self Help page. 

Family Planning

All doctors offer contraception service. Separate Family Planning Clinic run by female doctors can also be booked. Please contact the reception.

Cervical Smears

Cervical smear tests are carried out by our practice nurses and appointment should be made via Reception.

Flu Clinic

Flu vaccines are usually given out during October through December each year. It is offered to all patients age 65 and over, patients with Asthma, COPD, Diabetes, severe heart disease, chronic kidney disease, chronic liver disease or poor immune system. You can find further information in Self Help page and Links page.  Please book at the Treatment Room if you are eligible.

Chronic Diseases Clinics

We offer 2 clinics, Respiratory Diseases and Diabetes Clinics to all patients who have any of these problems. Please contact the Treatment Room or Reception for an appointment.
